KAWASAKI TEAM GREEN - Press Release:

Bezzant Takes On The Tasmanian Devil

Cambridge’s Kirk Bezzant who recently returned from the World Junior Motocross Championships in Latvia, has spent the latest school holidays contesting the Australian Junior Motocross Championships.
The Championships were held at "Blackwood Park", Penguin, Tasmania from September 28th until October 2nd.

The fifteen year old got good starts on his Kawasaki KX250-F in all three of his races only to fall at the first corner and then have to fight back through the usual carnage associated with that type of bad luck.
To his credit Bezzant fought on to finish the Championship in 7th overall, disappointed as he had gone through two days of waiting for one qualifying race per day and had earnt 4th pick of the start gate.

With the races in Australia being only ten minutes in duration, Bezzant was unable to show his full potential. In New Zealand the Junior Motocross Championships are run over three days with nine twenty minute races.
We were unable to get comment from either Kirk or his Father as they were traveling, we hope to get some more information on their return home on Tuesday.
