So what happened at Lierop??
MXLarge.com reports that:
"It was New Zealand heading the points table after the first race, MX1 vs MX2. Josh Coppins and Ben Townley used their excellent sand riding skills to finish third and ninth, respectively. But the Kiwi hopes went down the drain soon after, when Townley´s KTM engine disappeared in a cloud of smoke.
Coppins would also suffer a DNF later on; the team ultimately ended seventh".
