A guy who knows a bit about the world MX scene, Geoff Meyer, writing for CycleNews.com reckons the Kiwis are in with a good shot this weekend and picking them for second, behind the highly rated Belgians at the Fox Motocross of Nations, Lierop, Holland ??
BTW. Have you caught the Ballykelly World MX GP round on SKY ?? If you haven't got SKY - beg borrow or steal a video of it. The exposure afforded Kiwi MX is phenomenal ...... It gave some great insights and could well be the product of a Ben Townley official fan club. Some interesting statistics - BT has lead 271 laps in MX2 this year out of a posible 525 laps. His nearest rival lead 55 laps in '04. That probably sums it up.
