Hi Everyone,
We've had a fantastic weekend with Ben Townley winning the MX World GP and it was so great to be here with him to celebrate.
There were several familiar New Zealand faces here along with us, it is something I will never forget.
As for me, well my results weren't as good as Ben's. I could only manage a 13th in the first race and then the heavens opened for my second race with the track getting very very muddy. I got a 16th in the next race and found the big ruts in the jumps faces very hard to ride as we don't get them very often in N.Z.
I was so excited about being here to watch Ben race that I was finding it hard to focus on the job at hand but it has been an awesome experience. When I get back to N.Z. I will have a lot of work to do trying to get fitter for the up and coming major race meetings. I will also need to improve on my riding as I now know I have a way to go before I am at the level of the top guys are over here.
