Stefan is feeling good allbeit a little nervous.
Days 3 and 4 are still not
yet ready to walk, so Stefan will have a last minute dash to check out all the
stages on those two days before Monday.
There are 460 riders entered to be at the start gates on Monday morning. Stefan is number 84 with Salminen starting with the earlier number 81.
The team have managed to take something like 7kg off Stefan's bike in an attempt to make it lighter for him. Being on the 'short side' the bigger bike is more difficult for Stef to push around, so he can do with all the help he can get.
Lexy will be updating Stefan's Web Site: daily, so hope to have results through early.
