Hi Everyone,
As I Wrote Earlier: my first race meeting didn't go quite as well as I hoped due to having difficulty with the bike set up and I think, having some jet lag.
In the next few days after that meeting, we tried all sorts of different things but just couldn't get the bike going how we wanted to. So with the help of Kawasaki NZ and Kawasaki UK, we now have another bike, but I didn't get a chance to have a ride before the next meeting which was on Saturday.
This next meeting was a one day event and a round of the Irish School Boy Champs. I got a 4th in the first race after having one 'Off'. Went on to get 3rd in the second race with an 'Off' also and then finally getting it right in the last race with a win. We have had great support from people over here and especially the Kawasaki dealer in Belfast, Norman Watt Motorcycles.
On Friday of next week I race at Ballykelly at the World GP Track. Our racing will be between the Qualifying of the GP races, we will have 2 races.
We will be staying on for the racing on Saturday, to watch our Zealanders Ben Townley and Josh Coppins race, hopefully with Ben taking out the overall win in his class.
