The Aussie Shane Watts: who is campaigning in the States has fought hard to Overcome Injuries: to get back to his previous competitive form.
Shane`s PR will be regularly updating Silver Bullet with his progress.
KTM Offroad racer Shane Watts scored fifth place at round five of the
Offroad National Championship, held at Millville, Minnesota over the
weekend.
Following a sixth place start Watts worked his way into the lead halfway
through the first lap and proceeded to hold the lead until the mid-race fuel
stop. Not far into the fourth lap Watts had a simple front end washout
straight into a deep, trackside mudhole. Two miles further down the track a
big rock sent Watts over the handlebars and into a spectacular flying W
through the trees. After regaining his composure Watts was unable to bridge
the gap back to the lead pack.
"I'm not happy at all with the way I rode. I was pretty timid and riding
tight. I just wasn't aggressive like I have been in the past."
