Matt Bowden, a cheerful and enthusiastic member of the Witley Enduro team sought his dream, riding in the 2003 ISDE in Brazil. Through a tragic turn of events he lost his life in pursuit of his goal. A loss to mankind occurred on that day in November, but all those who had shared a time and place with Matt have gained something in their lives.
In recognition of this, a significant collection of cash and items for sale to raise funds for the benefit of Matt's dependants was forthcoming from the multi-national ISDE village in Brazil.
Some of the donated items were auctioned at an off-road motorcycle show and further funds raised at a Witley-run enduro. To extend this fund, for the benefit of Matt's dependants, the remaining items from Brazil are now offered for auction to expedite the ISDE gesture in memory of the tragic loss of Matt Bowden.
