How would you like to follow the Australian Safari on your own bike?
Well you have missed the boat for the 2004 event as that is set for September 12 to 20. The deal is for AUD$2,750.00 you will be treated just as if you were an entrant in the Australian Safari, the only difference being that you will not actually be competing and you will be led by Australia’s leading off road tour specialist, Lyndon Heffernan - The Yamaha TASTE 04 – Tribe Australian Safari Tour Experience is the closest you can get to the Safari without actually competing. But it would be worth checking it out for '05. The cost of shipping your own bike is between NZD$700.00 and $1,250,00. (Depending on the level of service. ie getting the bike through customs and quarantine etc.) The writer shipped his bike over the ditch in '03 and it wasn't the hassle that a lot say.
