Hi Everyone,
The final two rounds of the Czech Republic Supercross Championship was held in Litovel, 100km north of Brno. The track in Litovel was the best of the series and the best turn out of spectators.
Saturday Round 3
My day was going pretty well as I had moved into the points lead after the
first final. I was still having some real problems with my leg and the pain
was getting worse with every moto. In the second final I was making a pass into
third when I crashed together with another rider. As I was down for awhile
I could not restart the 450, being one of my first races on a 450 and my leg
giving my problems I DNFd the moto.
Heat Race: 1st
1st Final: 2nd
2nd Final: DNF
Overall: 5th
Sunday Round 4
The rain set in and a Supercross track turned into a mud hole. I wanted to
just finish out the championship and knew that I did not have a chance to
win the title again due to my DNF the day before. The heat race was cancelled
and we entered the gate from time practice - I was 2nd.
I was happy to just finish the final day of racing as my leg did become a real problem for me, I plan to get the pin out of my leg which is causing the pain to my left leg as soon as I can fit it in my race schedule.
1st Final: 3rd
2nd Final: 4th
Overall for the day: 3rd
Overall for the Championship: 4th
I had great support from KTM in Europe and the team did a great job on my bike throughout the series.
