Press Release:

NEW HUSQVARNA CR/WR 2005

The two stroke motocross and enduro Husqvarna 2005 range, in 125 and 250 versions will enter production starting from the last week of June.

The models have been updated aesthetically using a new rear mudguard, now yellow, new lateral number plates and a new front number plate for cross versions. The front mudguard will have a plastic reinforcement .

All new are also the graphics found on the conveyors to the sides of the fuel tank, and of the number panels, which give the models greater aesthetic simplicity.

Regarding the mechanical parts, increased attention was given to the chassis dynamics and, in particular, modifications were made to gain increased functionality in the suspension and brakes department.

This is why all models adopt Sachs shock absorbers which are equipped with a counter-spring system, favoring the suspension reactions mainly during the return phase, and in particular whilst braking hard from high speeds, reducing almost completely the rebound sensation that often occurs when shock absorbers are hot.

Always with reference to the shock absorber, new are also the sealing rings and the shock absorber tank, which has been redesigned to improve cooling.

The lower shock absorber fixing is of the hing type, and no longer by the uni-ball method.

On WR models the rear disc brakes fitted will be without holes, , whilst all models will adopt a new front brake pump that improves braking modulation.

The Husqvarna motocross models are the absolute first to be equipped with the hook for starts, which is to be fixed to the plastic fork leg covers and the suspension legs. An exclusive which will certainly be appreciated by all cross riders, and that will also be adopted on all 4 stroke 2005 models of the Husqvarna range.

The 125 CR/WR boasts a palmares of utter respect and is always the reference point of production for Husqvarna two strokes, thanks to its 4 World Championships and 6 National titles won in the last 6 years.

The WR 125 has been updated on the basis of indications deriving from the World Championship enduro by Roberto Bazzurri, winner of the last three (01-02-03) National Championships with his WR 125. In particular, great attention was aimed at improving the power band by radically changing the exhaust tube and system.

The Husqvarna 2005 two stroke production range for motocross and enduro will be available at authorized Husqvarna dealerships starting from the first days in July.
