Yamaha - Press Release:

Geelong based Motocross team, CDR/Boost Mobile/Yamaha, have dominated the second round of the Mr Motocross Outdoor Series at Horsham this weekend, claiming half of the available podium positions.

Darryll King won the Pro Open class with teammate Troy Carroll third, while in the pro lites category it was Cameron Taylor who again claimed third spot on the podium.

In the first of two pro lites motos Cameron Taylor came into contact with crashed rider Daniel Reardon in the first turn of the opening lap. Taylor clawed his way back through the field from near last, to finish the race third behind Honda’s Cody Cooper and Troy Dorron.
CDR/Boost Mobile/Yamaha’s Daniel McCoy finished fifth in the first pro lites race after being plagued by arm pump in the second half of the race. In the second, thirty minute pro lites moto Cameron Taylor got away to a great start and held his own to finish second behind the Kiwi, Cody Cooper and third overall on the day.

In the pro open races it was the battle of the Kings with brothers Darryll and Shayne challenging each other all way and only separated by one point at the end of the round.

CDR/Boost Mobile/Yamaha’s Darryll King won the first race ahead of his brother Shayne and teammate Troy Carroll who managed to keep up with the leaders for the first half of the race before dropping back in the second half.

In race two, the King siblings were beaten off the start by Corrie Sargent who led the thirty minute race from start to finish.
While Darryll challenged brother Shayne for second place teammate Troy Carroll was fighting his way back through the field after an early race incident. Darryll finished the second race third behind brother Shayne and with one point separating the pair it was CDR/Boost/Mobile/Yamaha’s King who claimed the number one spot on the day and teammate Troy Carroll hung on to finish the round third. “After last weekend I was determined not to let Shayne get too far ahead in the points,” King said. “We set ourselves a goal for this round which we have achieved we now need to set some goals for the next round.

Team owner Craig Dack was delighted with his team’s performance and said they had decided to stay at Horsham and test to keep the momentum going.
“We are so determined to win this championship,” Dack said. “The team is starting to move forward and gain momentum so we decided to stay at Horsham and do some testing as a group and see if we can find some more improvements.
