Tune into `Motor Sport Half Hour`
Ray penned the following letter to Radio Sport.
Motorcycle sport fans are with litle doubt, the most neglected sector of sports people in NZ. If you are not content to allow that to continue, perhaps you may care to send a (polite) email to sport@radiosport.co.nz
Good morning Radio Sport.
There were two major international motorcycle events overnight - Rnd 3 World Superbikes in Italy and the much-awaited Rnd 1 of MotoGP out of South Africa.
The Superbikes were live on Sky overnight - Sky is not taking the MotoGP cover. I\'m sure there must be thousands of listeners out there who would love to hear the results and who would expect to hear them on Newstalk-ZB and especially Radio Sport bulletins this morning.
So far I am informed there has been nothing this morning, which looks like a repeat of the ridiculous situation last year when Radio Network simply didn\'t bother with motorcycling.
Surely it\'s not too much to ask of a sports station!
