The \'03 SUMMERCROSS was run at the Bay of Plenty Motorcycle Club\'s home track at AWAKAPONGA, on Braemar Road, Matata on Saturday Dec 27 and Sunday Dec 28.
New Zealand\'s two top International riders, Taupo\'s Ben Townley, (KTM) and Motueka\'s Josh Coppins, (Honda) contested the event prior to returning the Europe to contest the 2004 World Motocross Series.
