Following on from Daryl Hurley`s - Sensational Result: at Seville on the weekend the Kiwi Oceania Motocross team convincingly beat Australia on their home soil at Broadford, Victoria.
Team New Zealand´s riders scored 836 points to Australia´s 655. The Kiwis dominated both the Pro Open and Pro Lites classes, the Aussies won the Junior and Women categories.
Honda´s Cody Cooper won the Pro Lites with 47 points, with Darryl King, Yamaha, 45 points, 2nd and Troy Dorron, Honda, 42 points, 3rd.
The Pro Open class was won by Corrie Sargent, Honda (47) from Shayne King, Honda (45). Lee Ellis, Honda, the best of the Aussies was third (40).
I know I am sounding a bit like a cracked record, but I have not seen that result in any NZ media yet.....
Now if it had been the Bledisloe Cup !!!!!
