In response to - ISDE 2006 ? the MNZ Enduro Commissioner, Sean Clarke writes:
The current status of the ISDE 2006 is that things are moving along nicely.
So far land has been secured for the event and Carter Holt Harvey are to support the event. The event will be run in the forests north of Taupo.
Registration issues for the competitors bikes has been sorted out, as all bikes entering the event have to be regoed. For overseas riders this is easy as most bikes used in events such as the ISDE are already registered.
`Destination Taupo` are right behind the event.
The event will be starting at the Great Lakes Centre in Taupo, right opposite the main shopping centre.
