Hi Daryl.
Brid Caveney here, West Coast Racing , California.
I am interested in racing at Pukekohe next year, and am looking for help.
Ken McKintosh was over here for the Ahrma race at Barbers, and we were team mates for the weekend racing Gil Vaillancourts (owner of Works Performance) Nortons. Gil has raced there for the last few years, and talking to Ken got me interested. I was thinking about racing the B50 I finished 2nd on in the Ahrma Nationals this year, (see details at - West Coast Racing.org) however, it seems the bike would not be back in time for the Ahrma season openers at Jennings and Daytona, and missing any races, with aspirations of winning a National title, would put me out of the hunt.
I also finished 5th in Classic 60\'s, and 10th in Premier 500 after racing a handful of races on Gils Nortons.
After a year of trekking around the USA, with no monetary help, we are not exactly well off, and wonder if you have any thoughts about getting any help to race Pukekohe?
Help with getting there would be good, and getting a cool bike to race would be great!! This may be a long shot, but hey-----if you never ask, you never know!!
