Denmark International Supercross
Hi Everyone,
I headed to Denmark on the 7th of October for an International Supercross event. This event brought riders from America, Italy, Sweden, Belgium, France and of course - New Zealand.
The track was inside a horse event arena, so there was not a lot of room to build a large track, however the promotor did a great job of doing so. It was very important to have good starts as there were not a lot of places to pass.
Friday Night
Heat Race - 1st
Semi Final - 2nd
Final - 4th
I started the night out good, but due to my bad start in the final I had to come from 12th to 4th and ran out of time to get to the front.
Saturday Night
Heat Race - 1st
Simi Final - 1st
Final - 2nd
Things went a lot better for me on Saturday night, due to better start\'s. Italian Supercross Champion Davide degli Esposti won the final. I was happy with my overall result from the weekend as it was my first race on the new 2004 Honda.
My next event is on the 2nd of November, the World Vet Championship at Glen Helen Raceway.
