Fired Up Tatum Gunning For Barth:

2000 World Champion Kelvin Tatum (Great Britain) arrives in New Zealand later this week, all fired up to take the World Speedway Long Track Crown, from current Champion and points leader Robert Barth (Germany).

The pair are among the top thirteen World and five wild card entries, who will compete at the Yarrows New Zealand Long Track Grand Prix at Pukekura Park, New Plymouth on November 1 2003.

The Grand Prix is the sixth and final round of the FIM World Long Track Championship and the 2003 World Champion will be crowned here in New Zealand on Saturday Nov.1. Tatum is more fired-up than usual, following the scrutineering incident at round four at Tonbridge (UK), which saw Barth fined, rather than his points for the round being removed. Barth holds an 18-point lead, going into this final round, so Tatum has an extreme battle on his hands.

Be at Pukekura Park on November I, for all the ACTION.
