Hi all,
Suzuki Desert Storm - fourth addition is just around the corner and is an event not to be missed if you are into fun trail riding. Event takes place 19-20 October at the base of Mt Ruapehu.

You might be wondering whats new this year, well here goes....
First we have got Enduro legend Sean Clarke in with his 8 Ton Komatsu bull dozer to smooth over the bumps and humps made by the thousands of bikes over the years. So now you can really get on the gas on those perimeter fire breaks.

Secondly we have found 20 km of fresh, rad new trail for you to check out, but don\'t worry there is no grovelling involved (Epic Events dictionary - Grovel = as in first gear, mud, roots, slow riding).
To mix it up we have reversed the Eastern loop that runs up the edge of the Rangipo Desert (NZ Army training ground). So this makes for a fresh look at an existing loop.

The Sunday only challenge trail has been extended and made a wee bit tougher.

Hot showers - you beeudee mate, just the ticket at the end of a hard out days ride.

Entertainment, roll out the massively powerful 50cc scooters to bang bars and create some fun racing with laughs for all.

Oh and yes the expanded grass blast. So popular at the Epic Suzuki Trail Blazer, we thought we\'d bring on some more grass track action. Desert Storm has outgrown it\'s home of the past 2 years so we have moved the base across the creek and have gained 10 acres of flat track heaven for 2 and 4 wheels.

Keen for a serious test ride on a new Suzuki RMZ 250, then rock up and give it a blast. This is one fun and high performing bike that recently won it\'s class at the Suzuki 6 Hour so make sure you are in.
And of course there are the regular event features like kids coaching, huge marquee for socialising, 2 x 55 km loops, novice track, break down service, (pick up and fix), parts and accessories for sale, videos, sounds and downright good times under the mountain.
