Motorcyclesport supporters - Let\'s help support Taupo!
You probably know that the Taupo Motor Race Circuit is proposing to upgrade &
enlarge the circuit into a much more attractive facility, that will include the necessary infrastructure such as pit garages and a business park but more importantly increase the length to 3.4km.
The improvements will allow for events from the club standard to full on Internationals, both motorcycles and cars.
As you are aware the great \"Kiwi Clobbering Machine\" comes to the surface when a venture this size is being considered. There has been a tremendous amount of work done on this project and it appears that there is just the last hurdle to overcome, the Resource Consent.
I would like you to support Taupo by writing in favour of the project and not allow the knockers to have their say. I would like to suggest to those who are wanting this to happen to write a letter or email to the address below and show our support.
The Taupo District Council has shown a great deal of vision for our sport and other motor related industries by providing a lot of resources and time into a much better facility for all. The Consent process has begun and time is of the essence to get the support that maybe needed so if you can help it would be much appreciated.
