Silver Bullet is one of only a few Websites worldwide that receives Desiree Crossman`s newsy behind the MotoGP scene column (not always PC). She reports on #21 John (Hopper) Hopkin`s MotoGP exploits and her own as they travel the globe.

First day at Rio:

Hi Everyone,
Well although I\'m home here in California, I still keep up to date with the race. This morning John had told me that it rained last night and there were dry and wet spots on the track. He said that he didn\'t know if anyone crashed but the trsck is not in the greatest conditions. John is my correspondent for this race.

For the second session, I watched the times on MotoGP.com live timing which was cool. It was my first time using it and it\'s great to keep up to date with the times. In the beginning, Kenny looked like he was doing really well staying pretty consistent. John was 17th for most of the time and towards the end looked like he picked it up alittle bit, jumping into 11th if I remember correctly but ending in 13th which isn\'t bad. Last year I thin his time was a bit faster on the 2 stroke but there is always tommorrow. Biaggi did good getting in the 1.49\'s, and Gaz!!!! Right on brotha!!!! Just joking.

Well in a few minutes John will call with some info to tell me as he did this morning. Just because I\'m not in Rio doesn\'t neccassarily mean I can\'t keep up, it just won\'t be as descriptive as the usual updates. Therefore, I will be posting/adding John\'s press releases as well to add abit more detail to the updates and I\'m sure it will provide a bit more coverage.

So until tommorrow after Q2, it\'s suppose to be a nice day tommorrow but it could change. We all will have to wait and see.

Later for now
Desiree
