Malmo International Supercross:
Sweden

Hi Everyone,
On Wednesday the 27th I headed to Sweden for the Malmo Supercrosss in the south of Sweden.

Being at the end of the summer and Europe coming off from a great summer, the promoter decided to have the show outside. However the weather turned on us and it started to rain and it became a bit wet.

Heat - 6th
The track was pretty small so it was important to get a good start, like always in Supercross. I timed the gate wrong and got my bike totally stuck in the gate, by the time I got started I was last, I worked my way back up into 6th.

Semi - 1st
After taking a 6th place start I worked my way into the lead by the 6th lap and took the win.

Final - 2nd
As the night set in, the lighting was not so great so with the bad lighting and the damaged track from the rain, it was extremely important to get a good start. I gated 3rd and worked my way into second quickly. By the half way point, I started to put a charge on to take the lead from the Swedish hero. On the very last lap I got beside the lead but could not take the inside line on the last corner and missed out on the win by half a wheel.
