The first round of the GNCC was held at Mangawhai on the weekend. Paul Whibley riding the Husky TE250 took the win followed by Chris Birch (KTM?) and Sean (Junior) Clarke (Suzuki) third.
News is that it now seems almost certain that Whibs will not be at Brazil.
You will have read Trevor Responds: which is Trevor Gill`s response to my lamentation ISDE Brazil that a Kiwi Team is not competing in Brazil this year.
Our absence is especially significant in light of the fact that this is the country that is set to stage the 2006 event? While I see where Trevor and MNZ are coming from I am still of the thought that MNZ should stick to it`s knitting. And that includes being at Brazil.
