Castrol Honda Red Riders show form in Junee:
Castrol Honda Red Riders Shayne King and Cody Cooper raced the penultimate round of the Staintune Australian 4-stroke Nationals held in Junee, Victoria over the weekend.
Current series leader in the Pro Open class Shayne King suffered a heavy fall in the first moto taking only 11 of a possible 25 points. Despite his fall King was able to regroup and retain the points lead in the series over second place rider Yamaha’s Darryll King.
Fellow Castrol Honda Red Rider Cody Cooper rode solidly to move up to fifth position overall in the Championship with only the Wonthaggi round ahead of him.
Castrol Honda Red Riders Race Team Manager Dave Borlase said,” With only one round of the series left the pressure is on for those top five placing’s and what has become a very prestigious event. The Wonthaggi, Victoria round will be held on the 21st of September”
