The 2003 World Long Track Championship Heats UP:

As the Championship moves to Morizes in France, for the French Grand Prix, the fifth round of the championship on September 6, 2000 World Champion, Kelvin Tatum (Great Britain) moves within nine points of the defending champion, Robert Barth (Germany), after his win in round four at Tonbridge in the UK.

Tatum is confident of reducing Barth’s lead even further on Sept. 6 before heading to the South Seas for the sixth and final round at Pukekura Park in New Plymouth on November 1.

Gerd Riss (Germany), the 2001 Champion holds down third at present from Paul Hurry (Great Britain), while Mattias Kroeger (Germany) and Zdenek Schneiderwind (CZE) share fifth.
