Ben Townley - Press Release:

BT has flown to Ireland to take part in a round of the KWS British International Masters Motocross Championship in Newcastle.

The fast typical UK circuit, with hard underground and elevation changes, was to be ideal “race practice” for the next round of the 125 world championship GP in Gaildorf Germany.

Ben grabbed the hole-shot in both moto’s of the day aboard his factory 125 KTM, however he was passed by fellow KTM rider, Stephen Sword, who seems to carry an amazing amount of speed on British soil. Riding two consistent races with reflecting lap times, the talented New Zealander posted two second positions to give him second overall for the day.

“The track was awesome and really good preparation for Gaildorf next week. Stephen was fast today. I was happy with two hole-shots and I felt really good after each race. I’m looking forward to next weekend!” commented the youngster.
