Peter Broxholme a.k.a. ‘Broxy’ is now heading down a new track, after racing motocross professionally in Europe and taking a break from the sport that has taken him all over the world, he is returning to motocross as the head of Broxy rider coaching.
In conjunction with Blue Wing Honda, ‘Broxy Rider Coaching’ was launched at last weeks Mystery Creek Fieldays and was well received by the public. Twentyone year old Broxy from Tauranga is now moving his focus full time into helping improve the safety and speed of riders nationwide, passing on some of the skills that has taken him to the top of the podium in Japan, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
Peter ‘Broxy’ Broxholme says, “This is the kind of opportunity I have been waiting years for, and something I intend to be doing for a long time. Working with people and helping them out is one of my all time favourite things and being able to be a part of something like this is a huge opportunity.”
The course includes the opportunity to rent one of a number of race prepared Honda CR125R and CR85R motorcycles from Broxy Rider Coaching, or alternatively using the riders own bike. The coaching will be held on tracks all over the country, and the courses will be limited to around six people per class, to get maximum one on one attention for every rider, in either the three hour or full day sessions.
“Almost every off-road motorcycle rider I talk to, from the beginner to the most advanced has the desire to learn and improve the way they ride, whether it is in corners, starts, or in the air. I want to provide a package for anyone that has ever ridden a motocross or enduro bike so they will learn to get the same enjoyment out of riding to their potential, whether racing their mates, the rest of the pack or simply themselves, and that only comes from improvement, “says Peter ‘Broxy’ Broxholme.
