Hello, Hola!!!
So let\'s start off by saying it was a hot day, still is a hot day. It\'s 95F, 31C. This morning, I thought I would put on some pants because I was wearing shorts too much, and I\'m sure people were starting to get sick my legs. But, it was so bloody hot that, I just couldn\'t take it anymore. Back to the short shorts!!! \"We wear short shorts!\" (Nare commercial).

The first session was quite good, John was doing well. He was in the top 10 ten, not too bad on the Suzuki, considering the circumstances. Of course the heat wasn\'t helping at all. Colin was hauling ass today. When I saw Alicia, I yelled out, \"What the hell are you feeding your husband?\" She said it was a secret. Obviously, `cause damn, what in tarnation is goin\' on g\'damnit!!!! (Texas talk) :)

And Shinya...............whoa boy, tone it down!!! Talk about getting up there. He\'s been doing awesome this weekend, must be the rice. Rice rocket....woo-hoo!!! And at the last minute it seems, Olivier made it up to the top 4, I think he got 3rd. All theses boys are pushing that\'s for sure. Of course Rossi got pole again, but his time didn\'t improve from yesterday. In fact, alot of people didn\'t improve much. The conditions here were a bit hotter today rather then yesterday. I\'m sure many were struggling with grip.
John\'s time didn\'t improve as well. I hate to say it, but last year John\'s time on the Red Bull Yamaha was faster on the Dunlops then this year.
It may be a bit warmer, but not much. So, I\'m not going to say anything else but it\'s plain to see. 2-stroke/Dunlops, 4-stroke/Michelins............hhhhmmmm, difference? He had pole last year too. Maybe the competition is getting tougher, but he said the same thing.
Oh well, things can only get better, please!!!!!!!

His back is very sore, he\'s riding at the best he can. Yesterday he got some X-rays to see if there was any internal cracks or sprains on the bones or muscles. It came up negative, but it\'s taking it\'s toll on him. When he gets off the bike, he walks like a robot. But, you know, he\'s a racer and they\'ll ride regardless.

Today he qualified at 13th, which isn\'t bad, but last year he qualified at 6th. Small difference huh? Tommorrow, I just hope he gets the chance to bring it home on two wheels, and gain some points. He deserves it damnit!!! :)

Alright, well I must go and sort my pictures out of the brolly\'s around the paddock. I\'ll get up to date tommorrow, until then-adios!!

Desiree
