Hello,
Today was on of the better days here for John. Not significantly, but alittle. I guess the team got some parts from Japan last night, so they worked on the bike until about midnight. I\'m sure they are a bit tired today.
John did relatively well today qualified 11th. It was his last lap that he did the time and it\'s baking today. It\'s as hot as it was in Mugello, only here there was a small breeze. Very small. John\'s still in a lot of pain, as I write this, he\'s going to the chiropractor here to try and fix his neck.
Kenny is here too but he\'s not riding because of the pain in his arm. I think he\'s actually going home on Saturday to the states.
There were only 2 crashes in the session, one of them was Alex Barros, and the other was Gaz, on the last lap. Nothing broken and no serious pain injury.
Colin was doing really well today, was one of the fastest in the first session and then was up there in the top 5 during most of the qualifier, with the first section being his fastest it seems. Seems like Aprilia has got something in the bag or Colin just stepped it up. Either way it was good to see him up there, and Shinya was on it again too. Something must be going right in the D\'Antin garage cause\' suddenly he\'s up there riding hard, what\'s going on??? :)
Well boys and girls, now I must jet out to see how John is doing. One guy from the team has this program on his computer where you type in your name and it gives you your job description.
I was a trained assassin, John was a Top Gun Pilot, Kevin Schwantz was a monkey impressionist, and Kenny was a village idiot. No joke, I don\'t know how it comes up with these descriptions, but like I said, you type your name and then it comes up. Strange shit! So we were typing in every person we can think of.
