WORLD LONG TRACK CHAMPIONSHIP WELL UNDERWAY:

The top sixteen World Long Track riders were confirmed today by the FIM when they announced the field for the first final of the FIM World Long Track Championship to be run on 15/06/03 in Bielefeld (Germany).
The 2003 Championship will see these sixteen, along with wild card entries or riders from the last chance heat, battle out six finals in total.
The inaugural New Zealand Long Track Grand Prix, will be the sixth and final round at Pukekura Raceway in New Plymouth on November 1.
Not only will New Zealand see the crowning of a World Champion, we will get to see three past champions, Robert Barth (Germany), Kelvin Tatum (Great Britain) and Gerd Riss (Germany) battling for the honor.
