New Zealanders Again on the Isle Of Man Podium:

For the second time this week a New Zealander has won at the Isle of Man. Following his second placing in the 1000TT former Wellingtonian Bruce Anstey has taken out the Junior TT in record time.

Averaging almost 194 kms an hour Anstey completed the course in the fastest ever Supersport TT time of just over 1hr 15 minutes on his Triumph Daytona 600.
The 34 year old`s win is a landmark for Triumph, the British manufacturer has not won at the Isle of Man for 28 years. The race is considered to be a true test of both mechanical and rider ability.

New Zealand’s other winner this week, Shaun Harris of New Plymouth, finished 5th on his Suzuki and Warren Turner of Palmerston North was 41st in a field of 73 starters on his Yamaha.
