Guten tag from Austria!
We are here in Austria, well we\'ve been here for a few days now. Good to be back. The weather here has been alright at the moment, calls for sunshine all this weekend, looking foward to going to the lake.

On Sunday night, they cancelled the test as I said before and we left to Paris on Sunday night to catch a flight the next morning. We didn\'t get in until midnight and we stayed at the Country Inn and Suites, very American. It felt like home!!! Just kidding. Anyway, we were tired from the driving, it takes about 2 hours to drive from Charles De Gaulle to Le Mans. There is another airport, Orly, but the flights into that airport are limited, so when flying in, CDG is the place. And it seems to be more tiring when you\'re not driving.

We got up the next morning, caught a bus to the airport and checked in. We saw one guy from Suzuki and was talking to him abit before boarding the plane. We flew from Paris to Vienna, and right when we got off the plane, in the terminal, there was a STARBUCKS. I hauled my ass right over, switched on my Deutsch speaking hard drive, and ordered me an Iced Mocha, in Deutsch. Well, like I really have to say much, but I just came from France, so switching back and forth is abit crazy at times cause\' I\'ll speak 3 different languages in 1 conversation, not even knowing I\'m doing it. John tends to let me do the talking cause\' he gets frustrated, he just knows all the bad words. :) But I have to tell myself, \"Ok Desiree, you\'re in Austria now!\"

So I got my mocha, and we waited for our next flight to Salzburg. Vienna Int\'l is a very small airport and there isn\'t much to see so we just sat around for nearly 2 hours waiting and we couldn\'t go in the lounges, damn.

Once we got on our flight, it was a short one to Salzburg, Frank picked us up and now we\'re back here at the gasthof. John\'s still sore so we haven\'t done much of training just relaxing. I\'ve been using my skills though and been giving him a massage on his shoulder. (A proper massage too, I know what all you are thinking, \"Yeah right a massage Desiree, sure.\" But it\'s true, you sick puppies!!!! :)j/k) It has helped abit, I do it about twice a day on his shoulder and neck. Can\'t expect me to heal it, I can only help relax it. Yeah, I knew it would come in handy to take a massage technician class, right on!!!

Alright so guess what? We got a new ride!!! It\'s a Suzuki Vitara and the best part about it is it\'s insured and registered. The car we have now, I don\'t know if I ever said anything about this but last year, John and I drove from France to Austria in the Alfa Romeo. It\'s been around half or Europe, gotten us to and from without a problem. We drove it (crazy now that I think about it) from France with no insurance, in the night, thru Switzerland, had no proper map, gas stations close at night so we rationed out the gas, no radio, couldn\'t speak hardly French or German, and made it to Austria in it. It still has a French license plate and I don\'t think we\'ve serviced it since we\'ve been here. Maybe, but I don\'t remember. Well this car has done it all, she\'s a trooper and I don\'t want to get rid of it cause\' it has so many trips and memories in it. But now we must move on. The Vitara.

Yesterday we picked it up from Suzuki Austria in Salzburg and they had a photographer there. They were nice guys and were excited to meet John and have him in Austria. It was cool, we drove it back and now we\'re stylin\'. It\'s power everything, and has a cd player. I think it will do just fine. We were supposed to get a sedan called the Baleno, but they ran out. Instead, they gave us a Grand Vitara, not too bad of a deal. As John would say, \"shit yeah!\" heehee.

Garry (McCoy) and Gemma are here too. They arrived Tuesday night in the motorhome, cause\' it had to get serviced at Scania, it\'s a tractor trailer company. Now they are here until Tuesday before we all head to Mugello. It a holiday today so nothing is open which is a bit of an inconvienence. At home, no matter what holiday it is, something is always open. Here, nothing. Eeeerrrr!!!! Oh well, guess it gives us more of a reason to relax and do laundry, catch up on a few things and so on.

Well I\'m off, hope you all keep sending John support after that narly weekend. I guess everyone has one of those weekends, it just sucks it was his turn. Oh well, Mugello is next and that\'s like Glamis around a track. INSANE!!! Those crazy Italians know how to party.

Bye,
Des
