Tim Curr is starting his European campaign:
The 17 year old Blenheim teenager has his third race this weekend.
In his first outing in the German 125cc Championship he qualified
39th and finished the first heat in the mid twenties.
In the second heat he suffered a DNF due to a mechanical problem.
Last weekend Tim had his first race on the Yamaha YZ250 two stroke on a sand track
missing the cut and coming in third in the support class.
But the time spent getting used to the European sand tracks is helping and he reduced his time by 6 seconds! which would have seen him qualify.
He has only had his broken [left] arm taken out of plaster 4 weeks ago and is now only 90% fit in the arms.
So he is still a bit down on speed yet and it is going to be a hard task to qualify in the International German Motocross Championship when it gets underway this weekend at Reutlingen.
But it`s all experience
