Mickael Maschio continued where he left off last season by taking the win in the 125 MX GP at Bellpuig.
The only Kiwi at Bellpuig, Ben Townley who was battling his pre-season injuries, finished 13th for a valuable 8 points.
Josh Coppins is expected to be at the next round.
