Sportsmanship that is and I am impressed.

Had an enquiry after the WEC round at Salamanca, Spain from a Paul Whibley fan who wrote to Silver Bullet requesting me to ask Lexy Thorogood, Stefan Merriman`s partner and Press Officer for some info on Whib`s WEC campaign.

I did that, but warned not to expect too much as they are professionals doing the job for themselves and running their own WEBSITE: for that purpose. However I was very pleasantly surprised to receive this E-mail from Lexy this morning: -

Hi Bill
As you are aware I only do Stefan\'s PR.
For your info, here is Paul\'s results.
In Portugal, on Day 1 - 52nd overall and 14th in 250cc 2 stroke class.
In Portugal on Day 2 - 43rd overall and 12th in 250cc 2 stroke class.
In Spain, on day 1 - 28th overall and 6th in 250cc 2 stroke class.
In Spain on Day 2 - 27th overall and 10th in 250cc 2 stroke class.
The race in Portugal was quite hard and very deep mudholes, unlike anything you see in NZ! It also appears he is having a little trouble adjusting to the bike after riding the Honda 250 for so long.
It is quite a big change in lifestyle and I think he is doing quite well considering. I am sure his results will come up as he becomes more familiar with things.
I will send you the website for Greece soon and you can track his results off the organisers website.
Here is the: Salamanca Website:
Cheers
Lexy

Thanks for taking the time Lexy and best wishes from all of us in NZ to Stefan for 2003.
