Hi Everyone,

I hope all is going well.
Last weekend was the Herning Supercross in Denmark, With a top line up of International riders from all over the world, I was really happy to be standing on the top of the podium after the two nights of close racing.

Friday Night
1st: Darryl Atkins NZ Honda/FLY Racing
2nd: Kim Ashkenazi AUS Yam
3rd: Stefan Ludwig GER Kaw
4th: Davide Degli Espot ITALY Suz
5th: Michel Hermann GER Yam,

The track there would have been the best I have seen for a while and it offered great racing for the sold out crowd. Always in the small European Supercrosses the starts are important, my bike hooked up well every time with my new KINGS tires, so it the final I holeshoted and never looked back.
Kim Ashkenazi put on a last minute charge in the final laps of the main, but I held him off to the end and I took my first win of the year and my first win for FLY Racing.

Saturday Night.
1st: Darryl Atkins
2nd: Kim Ashkenazi
3rd: Stefan Ludwig
4th: Massimo Banocancini ITALY Suz
5th: Ba Vang DEN KTM

KING OF HERNING, DENMARK: DARRYL ATKINS NZ HONDA / FLY RACING

After having such a great night on Friday, I really just wanted to have fun and Saturday my riding and time was fun for me. I won the heat, semi and the final and became the \"King of Herning\" for the second time. It was a great feeling for me to win again and to make a stronger come back. I would like to thank my mechanic Gino Maes, who did a great job on my bike and the Sweden Power Sports / FLY Sweden and all their supporters for supporting me at the race.
I dedicated my win to my grandfather who passed away late last year. Up and coming events/promotions:

I leave for New Zealand tomorrow and will be working there with FLY NZ, having a FLY Day with young riders and FLY dealers, then on the 19th of March I fly to Guatemala city for a three weekend Supercross series there. I will keep you all posted with these results next month.

I thank you all for you support and look forward to see you again soon.

Take Care,

Darryl Atkins
