Ordinarily I wouldn\'t comment but there\'s too much inaccuracy on the net already. We ride the States for the training. SX is great prep for outdoor MX and the January period is ideal timing as a buildup to the World Champs which remains our sole focus. Josh proved that last year and has made his motivation clear in media comments over the past month which ran on your site.
Doing it for the money? Nothing could be further from the truth. Josh is not paid by Honda or his team (Cas, UK) to race in the US. He is a GP rider and pays for his own preparation. Last year in the States he won a couple of thousand dollars in prize money; to run the two-month campaign costs that amount many times over.
Ben\'s circumstances are a little different but the effect is the same.
