You may have missed Peter Snell breaking the 4 minute mile at Wanganui`s Cooks Gardens but make sure you don`t miss the Suzuki Supercross Spectacular, Saturday January 11.
A pretty enthusiastic bunch are organising this, the 2nd Round of the National Supercross Series and it will run as a corporate partnership between the Wanganui Motorcycle Club and the Cooks Gardens Trustboard. What a superb venue and it is a positive move toward taking our sport to `the masses`, the event deserves every success. So you would not want to not be there. Would you.
Shayne and Damien King are confirmed entrants. There will be a 3 man team and mechanic coming from Australia to make this an international event.
Commentator is the esteemed Neil Ritchie and will incorporate the spectacular freestylers, the Marsh bros et al.
