The Honda World Superbike team will be competing in the British Superbike Championship according to reports.

The team, led by manager Neil Tuxworth and based in the UK, won their third WSC title in 2002 with rider Colin Edwards.

The cutbacks by Honda Europe forced an end to the successful World Superbike run and the team\'s sole rider, Colin Edwards, has signed with Aprilia to compete in MotoGP in \'03. Longtime sponsor Castrol has reportedly also parted ways with the squad.

It is reported that Honda will run riders Steve Plater and Karl Harris next season in Britain on the same machinery that Edwards won the title with this year.

It has also been reported that those machines will compete in the IoM 2003.
