As a bit of a follow up to Bills comments on Edwards move from Honda to
Aprillia.
Honda already have a large number of riders signed for next year in the Moto
GP class, it was obvious that they believe Nicky Hayden is a better long
term prospect than Edwards, this really got up Edwards nose!
The Honda that
Edwards was offered was in a satellite team on Bridgestone tires and in his
words would not have been an A spec bike.
If Honda can let Barros go why would they be worried about Edwards, I think the Aprillia deal was about all Colin had left in Moto GP as Yamaha made it clear that they Didn\'t want him for whatever reason, I believe Aprillia will struggle as they did this year, Regis Laconi is a very good rider and he struggled around at the back of the field!
I believe both Edwards and Bayliss will struggle against the likes of Rossi
and Barros in Moto GP!
