The motorcycle television series produced by Visionary Film & Television, 'Born to Ride' goes to air this week, starting with the first screening of episode one at 11pm on November 5 on Sky Sports channel. Sponsored by Suzuki New Zealand and Kiwi Rider, the show will, over eight weeks, feature all aspects of motorcycling in New Zealand, from motocross to touring, along with a few features from overseas for added spice.
As you may know by now, Kiwi Rider editor Jonathan Bentman is, for better or for worse, the anchor presenter. Thankfully he's supported by the Kiwi Rider crew and other similarly more gifted individuals who'll no doubt carry the show.
Later shows will have guaranteed peak period screenings (meaning between six and nine pm). Best news is the repeat showings each week mean that the first four shows alone are representing 16 plays, that's eight hours of television, over the one month.
