Remember reading: Not a Good Day:
I have received this report from an eminently reliable but undisclosed source, regarding Andrew’s progress following from his untimely and very painful exit from the Santoft Forest Enduro, August 4.
Andrew was last seen wearing a green polar fleece jacket and a white glove on his injured hand yesterday (Sunday 13th Oct), where he was helping to organise and run the first of this season’s Wellington Trail Riders hare scrambles event.
He’s still off work, but has taken advantage of the time off to battle with bureaucracy and has gained resource consent to run a number of dirt bike events on Council property this year.
Andrew’s still a way off having proper use of his hand and shoulder, and still further off riding. But he’s in good spirits (even though, he’s an active person, so you know it’s gotta piss him off).
Guess it’s hard to keep a good man down.
