It has been announced that the very sucessful Vangani KTM team in the 2002 MX World MX season, which featured our own Ben Townley plus Tyla Rattray and Tanel Leok will not be around for the 2003 season.

Those riders all have teams to go to. It has been reported that Ben will ride for the Kees Van Der Ven Team and the other two for a team headed by the former Millenium team manager, Swa Goffings.
It is hard to understand that the Vangani team that has done so well could stumble in that fashion. It just goes to show that it is not all beer and skittles.
The Vangani team is just one of the teams that will not be at the World MX GPs next year. The other teams are:
Vismara Honda (Their riders, Beirer, Bartolini and Kiwi, Josh Coppins have already announced that they are with other teams)
The Millenium KTM team, and there are rumors about which team will front up on the factory Husqvarna bikes in 2003, if any team.
