The MXoN may yet rise from the ashes, albeit in another format and with another name but the ISDE will start tomorrow, Tuesday, 24th September in Czechoslovakia.
The 77th year of the International Six-Day Event (ISDE) will be held within the territories of three districts within the Liberec Region. The main centre for this sporting gala will be the Støelnice Football and Athletics Stadium in Jablonec nad Nisou. The ISDE returns to the Czech Republic after thirty years. The last such event was held there in 1972. Although Slovakia held the event three times in the intervening years that is [now] different.
