Rumours:
About the future of Husaberg are flying thick and fast on the internet. The word is that production will be moved in house at KTM's Mattighofen factory. Constant supply and quality control issues as well as the high cost of labour in Sweden are said to have been a problem for the KTM owned subsidiary for years. KTM directors were rumoured to have given Husaberg`s Swedish management an ultimatum 2 years ago to make a profit, or else..... it seems the 'or else' is here!
Interestingly Husaberg's distribution rights were recently sold off by KTM to an independent company. This would seem to muddy the waters further.
In the meantime KTM have to be pretty happy with having MC on board. The guy is a legend in his own right and he has the cult following to prove it.
