Subscriber Rick Ede has just got back from a trip to the Philip Island GP. Here are his initial comments - hopefully we\'ll be getting a fuller report next week... Just got back from a boyz weekend in Melbourne at the GP - bloody excellent weekend. Mr S Crafar take a bow. Next time I\'m going to take a banner saying \'Mick Who??\' (and make sure I\'m not seen near it so 100,000 crazed australians don\'t beat me up). As far as the Ozzies were concerned there was only 1 rider competing. Mind you he was the fastest by a country mile. Never mind - Crafar set a new lap record during the race. Brought back a carbon fibre front guard, Pirelli Dragon Corsa back tyre (cost in NZ $550, cost in Oz, NZ$400), and a custom- made leathers-sized-hole (Tiger Angel) in the Mastercard....talk about a kid in the toy shop...
