Darryl Hurley was runner up to Craig Anderson at last weekends round of the Australian Supercross Masters.
11,000 spectators were well entertained at the all-indoor venue, the Entertainment Centre, Brisbane.
Darryl is 13 points adrift of Ando who is set to pursue a career in the US next year.
It is rumoured that Darryl will also be travelling the same path in 2003, riding either a Suzuki or Honda.
