SEVEN ENDURO WORLD TITLES FOR HUSQVARNA

Husqvarna and the Team CH Racing have conquered, in the last round disputed in Sweden, other two riders world titles in the Enduro after the one defeated last Sunday with Samuli Aro in the 250 class.

Petteri Silvan with the Husqvarna WR 125 and Anders Eriksson with the Husqvarna TE 570 have already awarded mathematically the title on Saturday. Eriksson won preceding of only a second Ahola and Silvan finished second , but in front of his direct pursuer Larsson.
\" This is my sixth world title - Eriksson has declared at the end of the race - five of them defeated with Husqvarna. I wanted to close the accounts with Ahola from the first day to enjoy the victory on Saturday evening and Sunday with my supporters, here in Sweden. And so it has been! I am really happy for this victory that I dedicate to my Team who has made a great job in order to give me the necessary assistance to win.\"

A great success for Husqvarna that, besides the three riders titles, has also conquered four industry titles in the class 125, 250, 500 4stroke and in the overall one, showing the competitiveness reached in a discipline where it is fundamental to have great mechanical reliability. For Husqvarna, that is about to celebrate in 2003 the 100 years from its birth, the palmares of the world titles conquered till now is 63.

The Husqvarna success in the final classification of the World Championship has been completed by the second places of Merriman (400 4T class) and of Edmondson (250 4T class) and by the third place of Oblucky always in the 250 4T class.

Samuli Aro with the Husqvarna 250 has greatly closed the World Championship winning the overall classification during both days of the Swedish race and finishing second behind Salminen in the overall one, where he has preceded respectively Merriman and Eriksson.
