Tony Rees fractured his pelvis in the qualifying session at Eastern Creek Raceway [May 17] but he hasn`t been just sitting around.

As well as running his Yamaha dealership, he has been involved in the build up for the Annual IRC Tarawera 100 Off-Road. This year being the 25th Anniversary of the event!
He has been having physio and lots of exercises to increase the mobility of his right side and Vicki, Tony`s wife reports; \"That recent X-Rays show the pelvis is healing very well. He is now off crutches, is not walking with too big a limp and he has a lot of movement\".

Now Tony and his family are due to fly out to Brisbane on Sunday 23rd June. With a few days to unwind and more training, he expects to be up-to riding the Bike Biz Yamaha R1 1000 at the next round of Formula Xtreme at the Queensland Raceway, 28-29-30 June.

That will mean Tony has not missed a round of the series, although he didn`t of course score any points at `The Creek`.

Silver Bullet wishes him well.
